Laminated Columns
Kiln-dried laminated columns are manufactured by gluing together multiple treated boards, making them stronger and straighter. While CCA treatment is unable to penetrate to the center of standard posts, laminated columns achieve 100% CCA protection. Treated Solid Posts
Treated solid posts are made from a continuous piece of lumber. Because they are minimally processed, they are the most economical option. As they dry and age, solid posts may be more susceptible to the natural movements of wood.
