Roofing, Siding & Ventilation

The exterior of your building is its first line of defense against the elements. The right combination of steel roofing, siding, and ventilation doesn’t just create a finished look—it actively works to protect your investment, regulate temperature, and prevent long-term issues like moisture damage and rot.

Whether you’re planning a new pole barn or post-frame construction project for agricultural use, a residential workshop, or a commercial space, choosing the right building materials and accessories is critical. We use heavy-gauge steel that stands up to decades of sun, wind, and snow, backed by comprehensive warranties.

Steel Roofing & Siding: Durable, Low-Maintenance, and Attractive

Once used primarily for commercial and agricultural projects, steel roofing and siding have become increasingly popular for residential designs as well. The reason is simple: longevity. Our 28-gauge steel panels resist dents, corrosion, and fading far longer than many other materials.

  • Material: 28-gauge heavy-gauge steel
  • Warranty: 40-year limited warranty
  • Accessories: Matching trim and accessories for a cohesive look
  • Colors: Many factory-applied paint color options to coordinate with any design

Matching Fasteners: Screws That Seal

A metal panel is only as good as the fastener that holds it in place. Our premium screws are designed specifically for steel roofing and siding applications.

  • Sealing: Cupped head encapsulates the washer for superior moisture sealing.
  • Durability: 5/16″ screw head is guaranteed never to rust.
  • Aesthetics: Powder-coated to match your chosen paint colors.
  • Precision: Micro-bit drill point reduces metal shavings during installation.
  • Architectural Details: Dormers & Cupolas
Small additions make a big difference in curb appeal and natural light.
  • Dormers: Custom-built dormers add architectural interest to otherwise long roof planes. They break up large expanses of siding, let in natural light, and can increase usable space inside. Choose from operable or faux options.
  • Cupolas: A well-placed cupola is a classic finishing touch for agricultural buildings, garages, and equestrian facilities. We build them custom to match your style, color, and size preferences.

Available with windows or louvers

  • Color-coordinated with your building’s siding
  • Choice of aluminum-clad or cedar construction
  • Can be paired with a weathervane for a traditional look

Condensation Control: Dripstop for Unconditioned Spaces

In buildings without heating and cooling—think equipment storage, livestock buildings, or seasonal workshops—condensation can be a real problem. When warm, moist air hits a cold steel roof panel, water droplets form and drip down onto your floors, equipment, or animals.

Dripstop is a membrane applied directly to the underside of roof panels during manufacturing. It absorbs and holds moisture, then releases it as humidity levels drop, preventing those annoying and potentially damaging drips.

  • Warranty: 20-year adhesion warranty
  • Safety: UL® 723 Approved for flame spread and smoke generation
  • Livestock Safe: Approved for use in livestock buildings

Ventilation: Soffit & Ridge Vents

Proper airflow is essential for any structure. In the summer, it vents hot air that builds up under the roof. In the winter, it helps prevent ice dams and moisture accumulation. Our ridge vent system is designed to work seamlessly with your steel roofing.

  • Weather Resistance: Fills the gap between trim and panel, offering wind-driven rain resistance at more than 100 mph.
  • Compatibility: Fits any roof pitch.
  • Appearance: Attractive, low-profile design that doesn’t disrupt your roofline.
  • Warranty: 40-year limited warranty.

Pair ridge vents with properly sized gable vents (available on request) for maximum airflow through the attic space. Additionally, you could include windows for maximum cross-ventilation.

Gutters: Direct Water Away from Your Foundation

Uncontrolled runoff can erode soil, splash mud onto your siding, and undermine your building’s foundation. Installing gutters is a simple, cost-effective way to manage rainfall and protect the area around your structure.

Paint Warranty: 20-year

Gutter Sizes:

  • 6″ gutters, .032 gauge
  • 5″ gutters, .027 gauge
  • Downspouts: .019 gauge

Snow Guards: Protect People and Property Below

In regions with heavy snowfall, snow and ice can slide off a steel roof in dangerous sheets, damaging anything below—gutters, equipment, vehicles, or even people. Snow guards are durable, rigid devices installed in a staggered pattern across the roof to hold snow in place, allowing it to melt and drain off gradually.

  • Warranty: 15-year
  • Finish: Powder-coated or mill finish
  • Material: 16-gauge stainless steel
  • Seal: EPDM rubber seal for weather-tight attachment
